„Не може да се излъже в киното, защото камерата хваща всичко“, каза Асен Блатечки в предаването „Тази събота и неделя“ по БТВ.
„В театъра, технически, един актьор може да излъже хората и те да се забавляват или плачат с него, но в киното не може.“
Блатечки сподели, че при него популярността е дошла 10 години след като е станал актьор. Това се е случило при участието му в телевизионно шоу по БНТ. Приел е поканата на Магърдич Халваджиян, което се е оказало правилно, защото го изстрелва нагоре.
„Аз направих нещо като мениджърски ход и приех да участвам в това предаване, въпреки, че го смятах за глупаво. И това не беше компромис с принципите ми, а абсолютно осъзнат избор“, спомня си Асен.
Преди това са го познавали само хората в театъра, където е работил и комшиите.
„Нашият учител, Стефан Данаилов, ни казваше, че първите 10 г. от актьорската професия работите за името си, а оттам нататък, ако сте работили правилно, името работи за вас“, каза Асен Блатечки.
Като ученик Асен Блатечки много е искал да живее в Америка, но от дистанцията на времето смята, че е по-добре да се живее в България, отколкото там.
„Манталитетът в САЩ е напълно различен, няма ги приятелите и роднините. За там е нормално всеки ден да пътуваш по два часа до работа и половината ти живот минава в колата. Освен това те сграбчва корпоративния свят и цял живот изплащаш някакви къщи, коли и т. н.“
А в България, според актьора, си живеем нормално, имаме всичко и разстоянията не са големи, всичко ни е събрано накуп – морето, планините, четирите сезона.
„Истинска свобода аз виждам само в България. Политиците ни са идиоти, за съжаление, но явно си го заслужаваме“, казва Блатечки.
