Сирийска връзка

Баща ми е сириец, Дълго време работи в посолството на Сирия в София, аз също бях част от структурите на посолството. Но когато избухна Арабската пролет, в Сирия започнаха големи промени както в отношението към Сирия, така и в отношението на Сирия към външния свят.

Като семейство имаме връзка със Сирия, много роднини, които оцеляха в трудните години и които още не могат да свикнат, че говорим по телефона, защото дълго време това не можеше да се случи – аз бях издирван от сирийския режим заради антидържавна дейност.

Тези години бяха изключително тежки и се радвам, че останаха зад нас.

Близкият изток: геополитически дискурси?

Позволявам си да мисля, че мога да посетя Сирия, но засега не съм сигурен, че ситуацията е стабилна. Има изключително много проблеми, за които не се знае по какъв начин ще бъдат предприети решения.

В България има много силни кампании за дезинформация, свързани със Сирия. Путин загуби този рунд в Близкия изток и не може да го превъзмогне, което генерира засилени атаки от проруски проксита в цяла Европа.

За 25 години се случиха толкова много неща. Осъзнах, че всички бележки, които съм си водил в главата са безсмислени, защото дори това, което говорим днес, утре ще е остаряло.

Нека погледнем голямата картина. Какво стана в Близкия изток? Как повлия това на нашия живот?

Ние го виждаме ежедневно, дори в политическия живот на България. От 2016 г. насам, стимулирано от безсмислените страхове за бежанска вълна от Сирия, политическото говорене постоянно генерира лъжи и полуистини призрачна имигрантска вълна от Близкия изток. В момента, когато страната е свободна от режима на Асад, е абсурдно да се очакват бежанци, напротив, хората се завръщат в Сирия. Според данни на ООН 115 хил. души са се върнали в Сирия за по-малко о месец. И това е много консервативна оценка.

Аз преживявам дежавю от 2016 г. насам, защото, ако теглим чертата за тези години, някои от партиите постоянно се появяват в контекста на страховете за бежанска вълна. Да не забравяме, че бежанците, колкото ги има, са следствие до голяма степен на политиките на Кремъл в Близкия изток. Русия запълни вакума, който остана след изтеглянето на западните държави от Африка и Близкия изток. Влиянието на Русия се отрази в глобален мащаб.

Въпреки че Русия е една от страните, които подкрепиха хуманитарната интервенция в Либия, нейната политика подклажда антизападни и антибежански сантименти в цяла Европа.

Арабската пролет показа, че има огромно множество хора в Близкия изток, според които не е достатъчни да си сит. Рано или късно имаш нуждата от институции и стабилна държава. В Сирия, по времето на режима Асад, нямаше глад, живееше се сравнително добре. И причината за бунта не беше липсата на хляб, а дефицита на демокрация. И сега, дори и при най-малкото залитане, веднага има антиавторитарна реакция. Това се възпита в контекста, за съжаление, на една брутална война.

Арабската пролет, от Тунис до Ирак, притежаваше импулса да защитаваш основните принципите на демокрацията, а не само хлябът.

Ахмед ал Шара каза, че Сирия не трябва да допуска т. нар. модел на Квотата (всяка общност с представителство в парламента), визирайки Ливан и Ирак. Тази система помогна за възхода на групировки като Хамас и Хизбула. Ако Сирия спазва дистанция от тези модели, може бързо да излезе от тресавището, в което попадна след Асад.

Нашият поглед

За последните 25 г. видяхме, че света е много по-голям, отколкото си представяхме. Дори погледа на българските институции се увеличи с 1000 км.. Ако преди сме гледали около нас, близко до нашата граница, сега обръщаме внимание на това, какво се случва дори в далечен Афганистан. Разбрахме, че ни засяга. Че всички теми по света са свързани, а ние си мислехме, че те са локални.

Войната в Сирия, войната в Газа, войната в Украйна, анексирането на Крим – всичко това е свързано и тези процеси сега изведнъж излизат наяве, светът стана много по-опасен и много по-сложен за разбиране. А това довежда до ръст на популизма в цяла Европа. Може да се каже, че системата за сигурност на ЕС е напълно разбита.

Ние, като държава и общество, най-после осъзнахме, че не се намираме някъде в Тихия океан, където нищо не се случва и няма проблеми. Напротив, осъзнахме, че трябва да реагираме адекватно и да имаме политики за всичко случващо се по света.

Тръмп и Путин

Аз не мисля, че двамата са приятели. Напомням, че Тръмп е президентът, който разпореди атака срещу руските сили в източна Сирия през 2018 г.. Този кървав епизод се превърна в част от пропагандата на Русия срещу Запада. Не мисля, че сега Тръмп ще бъде по-милостив оттогава, особено когато се засягат интересите на САЩ.

Тръмп има снизходително отношение към Путин – да не забравяме, че руският президент спря бизнеса на Тръмп в Русия, което няма да му бъде простено никога.

Тръмп е резултата от всички геополитически грешки на САЩ, които допуснаха през последните 25-30 г. – войните в Ирак, Афганистан и всичко насложено по-късно. САЩ придобиха комплекс от тези грешки, които доведоха от липса на реакции при редица световни конфликти – анексирането на Крим, например.

В момента Тръмп използва едно настроение, което съществува в американското общество и политика – промяната на фокуса от близкоизточните конфликти към Пасифика и възпирането на Китай. Това, което се осъзнава, макар и малко късно, че процесите, които Русия и Иран задействаха преди години, се подкрепят от Китай. И все по-важно ще бъде за Тръмп да има предвид точно тези свързаности.
